Over the last few years they independently created a unique and unusual style on the music scene, from
producing completely different genres of music individually released worldwide to touring venues across
Europe; playing to crowds of 6,000+ to receiving several press and award nominations for best club DJ and
producer. Who would have ever thought this young duo would merge together to create something magical
blending hard work, passion and dedication.
Miami House Party was born and exploded onto the EDM scene at the start of 2012. After diving into the deep
end with their fresh new ep: ‘WE ARE MIAMI’ wondering if they will get it on the front page of beatport or into
the top 100… The wish came true in under 72 hours after its release; the ep was successfully placed into the
top 100 of beatport’s progressive house chart at no.19! – A record breaking first for the label! – From then
their career has been one rollercoaster of a journey and loving every second of it…
Rapidly evolving their sound within the scene labels have been snapping them up with their releases and
remixes. Riseup Records, Lukesclub, Essential Session, Club Volution, Club Session, Mjoy Records, House
Session & Recovery House and even recently compiled a mix album for Celesital Recordings in time for their
summer release Indigo on the label! The duo sit on 30+ compilations in last few months featuring alongside
the leading players like Swanky Tunes, Digitalism, Feddie Le Grand, Deniz Koyu, Mark Knight, Manuel De La
Mare, My Digital Enemy, Todd Terry, Milk & Sugar and so on…
The pair has continued to receive great support from both media and other DJ’s and artists such as Fran
Crosgrove, Moussa Clarke, Reza, Jupiter Ace, Greg Downey, Elizabeth Jay, Hayley Parsons & many more, RTE
Radio, Blast FM, BBC ATL and BBC Radio One.
Pumped Audio, DJ Mag and a 3 page feature on Tillate Magazine.
Maxumi Recently featured their tornado track saying:
“Northern Irish new boys Miami House Party have only been producing together since around the start of the
year, but have already produced a couple of quality tracks that have been played on Radio 1 and RTE. Tornado
is the stand out track, a progressive house number with a big room sound. It’s exactly the type of track that
Dave Pearce would have arse licked on Dance Anthems and we strongly suspect it would get Judge Jules’ head
nodding in agreement too. The initial build up is the best, the timing of the drop perfected. Miami House Party’s
production qualities are obvious, and whilst Tornado might not blow the roof off for everybody, it’s a seriously
large tune that signals seriously large intent. Whilst you’re at it, check out “Vibe“, an equally good track but a
little more funky.”
NME also featured their tornado track and have been charted on several outlets. Their track “tornado” was the
label’s no.1 best seller on djdownload.com, jumped into their overall top100 chart at no.69 in less than 3 days,
and sat at no.30 on their progressive chart… 24 hours later it climbed to no.4! It also sat at no.4 label best
seller on Pacha download and was no.2 in top 10 progressive charts. Juno Download put it as April’s “Juno
Recommends Progressive Chart” at no.19 & currently sits at no.32 in their overall progressive chart! DJ Tunes
also charted in top 10 at number 2.
“Clockwork” reached in top 50 in 24 hours on trackitdown and they have been charted in Itunes France & USA.
What’s next for the dedicated duo?
They have a busy schedule now getting the excellent and respectful opportunity to collaborate with some of
music greats such as Angie Brown (Bizzare Inc.), Robin S (Show me love), Joelle Moses (BBC the Voice), Jessica
Hammond (BBC the Voice), Paula Lobos (Armada/Zouk) not to mention a couple of remixes coming out on afew labels later this year.
Besides their production efforts the pair will now be commencing their showcase tour which seeks to cover
several parts of Europe and Asia; Already headlined venues in their hometown and county.
There’s not one doubt that this year will be very busy the duo. Rumour is they could be going to New York?
Who knows… only time will tell?
