My name is Austin Blakely and I’ve been DJing for 8 years and producing for almost 4 years now. I’m a 20 year old with an unusual passion for all things music. I’ve been working tirelessly to expose myself and my music and have developed a solid following in the tri-state area. I have played several times, in several different states, on several occasions. I’ve played in states such as Pennsylvania, New York (New York City and New York state), and New Jersey just to name some. In the future I also have bookings in Massachusetts and more in New York. Musically I developed from hip-hop and progressed through the metal scene and found myself listening to Darude in 2004. Since then it has been electronic music. If I were to subject myself to one genre, right now it would be trance. I say right now because my “sound” is constantly evolving and I don’t limit myself to one specific genre. Trance is such an inspiring genre and there hasn’t been much noise being made by any new Trance producers or DJ’s so I’m here to represent the next generation to represent the Trance Family.
In the summer of 2010 I began my first journey into the world of online radio shows. I began my first weekly broadcast on Bassface Radio alongside heavy hitters like Getter and Point Blank. The dubstep demo that was submitted to them was called “one of the best demos [he's] heard”. Upon success at Bassface Radio I decided to step it up and take my skills to world famous Filth.FM. Filth.FM was voted Best Dubstep Radio Station in 2011 at the Dubstep Music Awards. During my time at Filth.Fm I was able to earn the time slot before DJ Captain Crunch which gave me crucial exposure. These events helped me build my craft to the level it is at today and I want to add you also to increase my skills even further.
